Clans and Teams
| AN INTRODUCTION TO CLANS AND MEMBER TEAMS ? |
A clan is a small group of members who have similar gaming interests. They are likeminded in their gaming habits - they play the same game and want to form their own small team to take on other similar teams at the same game. Or they just want to hang out with each other on a regular basis playing the same types of game.
A team is a larger group of members who share a similar but broader interest. This might be a team for owners of a console or a game. A team could also be for fans of a particular pro team. Owners of the Xbox 360 console for example would form a team, rather than a clan. These individuals might not play the same game but have an interest in the general theme upon which the team is established. |
| HOW TO SET UP YOUR OWN CLAN . . . |
Any forum member can start a clan. Only one clan can be created per member, but any member can join as many clans as they choose. Clan members must be accepted by the clan leader before they become part of the clan.

| HOW TO SET UP YOUR OWN MEMBER TEAM |
To start your own member team you must be a donated member. Click here for details of how to become a donated member. A donated member can create one club. A club can also have a forum created, with the leader and other members of the team assigned to moderate the forum. A member team has more features than a clan and is open to a much larger group of people.

| The purpose of our member teams and clans is to expand the Madden Planet community. Playing games online against random opponents can be a frustrating experience. A community such as this is the perfect way to find like minded gamers. |
